Flame Mahogany wood. It has a fully fitted interior flanked by Corinthian columns and with secret drawers. It was made in Paris between 1860 and 1880. The writing surface is 31" from the floor and is covered in a red wine color felt. The hand chased hardware is finished in dore. Hardware is original. Drawers are hand dove
