Grand and important hand carved wooden goose. Deeply carved, painted and gilted regal-looking bird. Probably made in Siam in early 19th Century. Peeled paint in green, blue, black, red and gold. Head and neck are a separate piece that have a square dowel holding them together.  Unknown origin, circa 1820.  Condition:  Good.  43”H x 33”D x 14”W
